SOUTHSURVEY CUP

On November 25th, the First National VR Digital Mapping Final Contest “Southsurvey Cup” for GEO Vocational schools was held officially. 1,596 contestants from nearly 300 colleges & universities in 28 provinces and cities of China will compete intensely. Final multiple group and individual awards will be generated.

VR Contest Briefing

The total duration of the contest was 4 hours, and the contestants were required to complete two tasks: The first one is complete the data collection work of the field mapping control point layout and the detail survey by using the South virtual simulation digital mapping software, And the second one is draw the DLG with SouthMap digital mapping software.

The scoring method of this competition is composed of two parts: automatic system scoring and artificial scoring by judges. The results of the competition will be announced by the National Surveying and Mapping Geographic Information Vocational Education Teaching Steering Committee.
